Verstappen has won, literally, nothing. He's in his 6th season in F1. He has clearly the fastest car this season, and trails the second fastest car. Next year the rules change, and could reshuffle the known order; VER could leave F1 without a single WDC. He's not the messiah...21-08-2021 19:46

The great irony, is that the day before, when he did the same to Hamilton (rarely mentioned by the Dutch boy refuseniks), he said, and I quote, "I had nothng to lose". I am loving this coming back to haunt him the very next day. However, what also has come out of this, is that the other 18 drivers will now know, that Verstappen will be thinking twice before doing it again. Dutch man pissed Dutch man has fucked up his car advantage. Sport, if Max had ceded at Copse, he'd be in the lead now, and wouldn't be facing an engine change and a 20 position loss when he does. Hamilton knows you can lose the battle and win the war; until max does, he'll always just be a super quick driver with no WDC. Once he matures, or shoudl I say IF he matures, then he will win a few. What is absolutely apparent, is no one will take Hamiltons records away from him. Franco/German LeClerc fan here.21-08-2021 19:30
